825 students received their awards from Y. Bhg. Dato' Seri S Samy Vellu, besides a certificate they also received a cash contribution of RM5000. The top 2 schools received RM7,500 each while the 3rd School received RM2,0000. More than 3500 people participated in this event which includes students, their parents, principals, education ministry representatives, community leaders and senior MIC officials.
